The LAN is running on a backbone consisting of a dual counter-rotating 100Mbps FDDI ring.
The ring connects two Cisco 7500 routers and four Cabletron MMAC+ hubs.

The buildings are connected together with fiber.  All the fiber runs terminate in the main terminal room:
