Patty Melt





Ingredients:
  • 15 oz 12% fat ground beef
  • dash Pemzeys 4S seasoned salt
  • dash black pepper

  • 3 tbls butter
  • 1 large onion, thin sliced

  • 3 tbls butter, melted
  • 3 slices sourdough bread
  • 3 slices Swiss Cheese
  • Thousand Island Dressing

  • Frenched Russet Potatoes
Directions:
  • butter in hot skillet
  • add onion, saute to nicely brown

  • divide beef to 3 patties, mostly square
  • dust with salt/pepper
  • grill on the BBQ, 3 minutes
  • flip, cook 2 minutes, add cheese, 1 minutes more

  • slice bread in half, add dressing
  • add patty on top, add onion on top, other slice on top
  • paint with butter, grill on hot skillet
  • butter on top, flip to toasted

  • patty melt on dish, fries on the side
  • DONE
