I bite my nails..... I have been doing it for as long as I can remember. I can remember being little and my mom trying all the remedies to try to get me to stop. None of them worked. She even resorted to bribery at one point. I managed to grow them long enough to get the promised toy, but then I started biting them again. I've never had nails long enough to put on nail polish. They've always been jagged and torn. Today, they were at a reasonable length, and I chewed on them. *sigh* I know it's wrong as I'm doing it, but I can't stop. I think I have been biting them lately, because I have been a nervous wreck ever since my daughter got her Driver's License and has been driving alone quite a bit, these past few days.
