Napoleon - January, 1997 to February 14th, 2004

Woke up this morning to find that our parakeet, Napoleon was dead. His nickname was "Mr. 'Tude", as he had an "attitude". I love animals with attitude. January 1997, was when we brought him home from the pet store. I don't know how old he already was when we bought him. I just love the picture of him posted above. He always loved to share what one was eating. Our oldest daughter, Helena, is eating a tuna melt in this picture. Napoleon perched on her hand, so he could share it. Seven plus years is a good long life for a parakeet. I will miss him.
