This is an update to yesterday's post. It turns out that my uncles girlfriend was not buckled in. And, she survived. I don't have any more information as to what actually killed my uncle. My dad thinks that he either died of internal injuries, or may have had a heart attack or a stroke. But, that's just speculation.

Posted by: Sharon at August 23, 2004 10:11 AMI know. I still can't believe it either. Considering that he spent most of his life as a long haul trucker. It's just something that I can't seem to get my mind around. A simple matter of a few seconds of fastening his belt and he would still be here.
