An Unfair Game of Tug-of-War

Shannon bought Max, the Great Dane, a new toy. It has a handle on one side, a length of rope, and a tennis ball on the other. She gives it to Max. We tell Billy, the Jack Russell Terrier, to go get the ball. So he obliges. And, his sidekick Sandy goes to help. The Russell's are tugging and tugging and tugging, with all their might. Max, is not putting forth any effort. If he did, those two dogs would be in the air.
