Last Friday, at the spur of the moment, my sister called and wanted to know if I wanted to go hiking in the local mountains on Saturday (yesterday). So, we went and took our dogs. Pepper, my dog, and her dog, C.C. and Smokey. The dogs had a blast. It was a 6 mile hike. We stopped a little over halfway and sat down in the shade and had lunch. We found a stream, and the dogs had fun playing in the water. I took a lot of pictures and will post them later. I ache a little bit today. And, for some reason, my left foot really hurts. It was fine during the hike. But, after we drove home, (it took about and hour), when I got out of her truck, my ankle was killing me. I have it in a brace right now, which makes it feel a little better. And, I'm not limping as bad as I was last night.
