I Got to Hold Her For the First Time

I finally got to see my nieces daughter today. This is Berlyn. I have written about her in previous entries. My niece brought her up to my mom's house today and I got to see her. My niece and her husband live in San Diego, which is about 2 hours away. Berlyn is still shy of 8 pounds. So, she weighs less than my daughters did when they were born. Helena, my first weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces. Amanda weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces. And Teresa was one ounce shy of being a 9 pound baby. Newborn clothese never fit my kids! LOL! My nieces husband is in the military and they will be moving to St. Louis in August. They will be there for 3 years. I am going to miss them terribly.
