The hand brace on my right hand was starting to turn from beige to black and felt wet all the time. Even though it wasn't. So, I pulled it off and am running through the wash right now. With it off, I am doing some of the things around the house that have been neglected. Like, washing dishes! I washed one sinkful and am soaking another pile right now. I am being extra cautious, since my hand still hurts, even more with the brace off. I don't want to do even worse damage. The doctor said for me to keep it on for a week. Can't remember if he said, "at least" or "for". Makes a difference. I can't see this getting better by Saturday, which will have been one week since I fell. It's not hurting as bad as it was, but, I think I am going to need the brace on for a little while more.
