Hurricane Katrina

Got his image from the National Hurrican Center. They have been evacuating New Orleans. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people who live there. This one is going to be bad. I'm really worried. I guess we will find out tomorrow, just how bad things are going to be.

Jonesboro is a little ways inside that notch on the upper right of Arkansas. We'll just get strong rain and thunderstorms at the worst, though. There's all sorts of terrible rumors going around that New Orleans is going to get destroyed if Katrina turns out to be a category 5. I hope that the people who can't evacuate are going to be okay.

I'm searching for more info on Bay St. Louis, I have a friend there. I understand he wasn't going to evacuate. How do I find out if there is a list. Or possibly at least get more news of that area, it is near Gulfport, but they only seem to concentrate on the more popular cities.
My friends name is Greg Garrett, he has a brother and sister-in-law that lived there also. His brother's name is Clark Garrett, not sure of his wife's name.
Thanks

My thoughts and prayers are with all the people who have lost everything in this terrible hurricane. We collected money at our local H.S. football game last nite and it totalled $857.00...that's just from one nite! There are all sorts of money and supply collections going on up here in Wisconsin...we are doing all we can to help! Even our colleges are taking in students that no longer have a school to attend. Our country is pulling together and it's really great to see that!! Sue
