Mike and I have never been on a cruise. It was actually something that never crossed our minds. We are more of the primitive, dirt camping types. We've always said that we wouldn't turn down a free cruise, just to see what it was all about. Well, an opportunity came up for us to take a last minute cruise from Dec. 5th thru Dec. 8th, of this year. A nice cruise for first timers from Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. It would go from Los Angeles to San Diego, up to Catalina Island, down to Ensenada and back to Los Angeles. Couldn't beat the price. Free. So, we accepted. I was a little worried, though. I would have to find our passports. Mike would need to get a new suit, for the one formal dinner night. And, I would have to get a nice dress. I would be asking for the time off, at the last minute, etc. Well, I worried for nothing. It fell through. We were both a little bummed out. I really like the itinerary, so I decided to book one a little later. That would give us more time to prepare. And then, I thought, "What better way to celebrate our upcoming 20th wedding anniversary!" So, I made reservations for the identical cruise. Unfortunately, one cruise ended on the 22nd, and the next one started on the 25th, so they didn't have any that were actually cruising on September 23rd, the day of our anniversary. So, I reserved the one that departs on the 25th. We both wanted the one after our anniversary, than the one before. Now, I need to find our passports. It will take me between now and next year to find them!
