I Guess I Should Read the Instructions

So I bought Lynne's Fuji Finepix S9000, so she could get a new Canon. She sent me the Fuji and it arrived a couple of days ago. This camera is replacing my once, start of the art, Fuji Finepix 2.0 Megapixel. I pull out the new camera and see all kinds of gizmos and buttons to push. It looks like the cockpit of a 747. The instruction book is a novel. My old camera was basically a "point and shoot". So, without consulting the book, I took the camera to work today. I had no idea what the hell I was doing. I just put the sucker on "automatic" and shot away. I still think these came out good. Just wait until I really learn how to use this thing. By the way, the first three images are of our dog Violet's mother. The next one is her father and mother together. The next six images are of her father. After that, is two pictures of Cassy, a pug. The last is Rita. My boss found her abandoned when she was a tiny little kitten. I haven't tweaked these, or anything in Paint Shop Pro. This is how they came out of the camera.

They didn't come out bad at all. I spent a lot of time taking the same photo on different settings to see which one came out the best. Then checked the exif on the photo to see which settings I used on it.

I read this a lot it's for the canon, but the explanations are really great.

The pics look great! Sandy looks like a smartass as usual. Has Rita put on a little weight? I hope she's not turning into Tripod!
