Ghost Rider

Since this got a "rotten" over on rottentomatoes.com, my expectations were low. So, it came as somewhat of a pleasant surprise when it turned out to be pretty good. I wonder if the critics realized that the whole thing was camp. I really don't think any of the actors were taking themselves too seriously. This wasn't an art house movie, it was a movie based on a comic book. I think Nicolas Cage did a great job as Johnny Blaze, daredevil motorcycle rider during the day, and then transforms into Ghost Rider during the night. His motorcycle transforms too. There is a really cool scene in the latter half of the movie where Ghost Rider rides across the desert with a Ghost Rider from the past, (Sam Elliot), that was really cool. This is one I actually wouldn't mind seeing again. My daughter sent me a link to one critic who felt the same way I did about the movie.
