Don't "Leave the Light on For Me" Anymore, Motel 6

So Mike takes this little trip back in September. When he could, he wanted to stay at Motel 6. So, he checks the credit card bill when he gets back. And, they charged him for a night he didn't stay in one of their motels. Calls the credit card company. "Try to resolve it with Motel 6 first...." Okay. Easy enough, right? He sends them an e-mail. No problem. You would think all they would have to do is punch it up on their computer and see that he didn't stay there that night. Or, call that particular location and verify that he was/wasn't there. But no, nothing is that easy. Especially when it comes to getting one's money back. They want him to call an "800" number. After that, we get something snail mail from them apologizing for our problem and it will be resolved in 15 days..... That was several weeks ago. Last Mike talked to them, they wanted him to fax some information over. He did that. Never received any acknowledgment. He's done everything that was asked of him, yet nothing has come out of it. I've been checking the credit card balance online every damn day waiting to see if they refund our money. It's at the point now where, whether this is resolved in our favor or not, I will no longer stay at Motel 6. I will eventually be taking a cross country trip to deliver some items to our daughter, when she they finally get title to their house. I will stay at Best Western. They have a really nice hotel in Oklahoma City. We stayed there last time we drove to Arkansas.
