Easter 2008

Had a real nice Easter today. Everyone had the day off, so we could slum at home all day. I slept in, as I usually do on Sunday. I made the Easter baskets for everyone, then procrastinated as usual, and ended making the traditional Bunny Cake rather late. The later it gets in the oven, the later the ham goes in. Everything came out great. I told Mike to go buy the cake mix for the bunny cake and he bought a carrot cake mix. Unfortunately, I didn't have an black or brown frosting. So, I had to settle for green. I still think it came out okay. Dinner was great. Ham, Mike's home made mashed potatoes, peas and dinner rolls. After dinner, we watched Enchanted. Turns out it was really good. We all enjoyed it. Tomorrow it's back to the daily grind.
