First Things First
It's become somewhat of a tradition around here. The first decoration to go up is a nativity scene. I'm not particularly religious or anything. I was given this set when I was around 14 and I have displayed it every Christmas, since then.
Perhaps it's because it's box is most accessible when I start yanking the decorations down from the attic. But, up it goes, first thing. It's in a cabinet just above the TV in our entertainment unit. I've run mini-lights around the cabinet and at night, with all the lights in the room turned off, the mini-lights make a nice effect the way they glow around the manger. I took a picture with the flash on the camera shut off, but it came out blurry. I am going to try to take another one using the tripod.
