Mmmmmmmmmm....

I love the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree. We bought ours last night at our local Target store. The stores here usually carry Noble firs or Plantantion Douglas firs. We usually get the Douglas fir in the 6-7 foot range. The one we bought last night had already been tossed aside by someone. I don't know why. It's a perfect tree. About 7 feet tall, nicely shaped, quite fresh, judging by the needle test. We put it in it's stand and I added water. Now, it's spreading out it's branches and the whole house has the fresh tree smell. I love it!

Hopefully, I can get the rest of my Christmas decorating done. I usually start the day after Thanksgiving, but I'm really behind this year. It takes me about 2-3 days to decorate. I'll take pictures when I'm done.

I'm lagging behind as usual, haven't even thought about putting the tree up yet. Starting to get that hint from my son, as most of the street is shinning like Grand Central Station already. Pfft!

We did ours up this past weekend. What a pain in the butt. We had to buy a fake one because we're afraid the 2 and half year old will eat the pine needles. Lucky you...love a real tree :)

I'll enjoy the smell for you then Violet! I just love the way it fills the whole house. You might want to try what we did one year with our tree. We put a little fence around it.

Lynne? Have you got your's yet? ;-)
