Heh! I thought the saga of the drain would be over... But, there was one more little incident last night. It really had nothing to do with the drain, that is the portal to hell. It was more of an oversight on Mike's part. You see, I mentioned that the washer wasn't draining either. So, Mike pulled the washer drain hose out of the pipe behind the washer, so he could access it. And, he forgot to put it back. We, of course, found out the hard way when my daughter went to do a load of laundry. Everything was going fine until about 10 minutes later when she went to the refridgerator and suddenly let out a blood curdling scream. She had felt something cold and wet touch the back of her bare foot. She turned around and noticed there was a stream of water covering the kitchen floor. She realized that the washer was going through the rinse cycle and dumping a load of soapy water. Of, course it was being dumped behind the washer and it was flowing out from under the washer and across the kitchen. The refridgerator is opposite from the washer, about 10 feet away. Mike thought, at first, that the clog had come back. Then, he realized what he had done. It was somewhat of a relief in a way. At least I got clean kitchen floors out of it, after all the water was mopped up.
