I was over at my parent's house this weekend. They were having a mutual celebration of my birthday and my sister's birthday. (It was kind of a compromise. Mine is on the 17th of this month and hers was on the 4th). Anyway, my dad gave me a birthday card with some money in it. I thanked him, and, since my purse wasn't handy at the moment, stuck it in the pocket of my jeans. Then, I opened my presents. I promptly forgot all about the money. Until this morning. I did a load of laundry and then stuck it in the dryer. When it was through, I open the door and there is all my cash in the lint trapper. Duh!
