In the 22 years I have lived at this address, I can count on one hand how many things have become lost in the mail. If you don't count the time the mail truck was broken into, I have had it happen to me twice. So, here's the irony. I ordered 100 Forever stamps from usps.gov and charged them to my credit card. I ordered them back on March 1st. They never showed up. My card was charged. I inquired about their status to customer service, on the web site. They told me that they were sent out on the 3rd. I should have received them by now. So, they put in a claim for me. They are going to trace the package and see what happened. I have a hunch that they were delivered to the wrong address. I just hope that my credit card info wasn't shown on the receipt. Now, I just have to wait and see how this gets resolved. Tomorrow, I will go to the local brick and mortar post office and buy some stamps.
