Ever Have One Of Those Days?

Where you spend every waking hour driving? Or so it seems. I'm just now sitting down and resting for the first time today. And it's 6:45pm. I got up at 6:30am, took the girls to school at 7:00am. I get home at 8:00, gather the trash to set out at the curb. I grab a quick breakfast and my oldest daughter, Helena (who is out on Winter break from college), and I go out to the mall to do some Christmas shopping. Leave the mall at 12 noon and head for the Junior High School to pick up Jeren, a school friend of Teresa's, who I also give a ride home. Teresa was going home with a friend after school, so, obviously, she didn't ride home with us. From there, I stop at my Mom's real quick to pick up some gifts. I get home at 1:30pm and have a quick lunch and go back up to Teresa's old Elementary school which is near her Junior High School. She had gone with her friends to visit their old teachers. I needed to pick her up and take her to get her cast removed. The orthopedist recommends I get an ankle brace at a certain sporting goods chain. So, we drive there, get the brace and then head towards the freeway. Take the freeway back to town and hit the local Sam's Club to stock up on groceries. $321.00 dollars later, we load the car and come home. Unload all the groceries, with the whole family helping. Then, I get to put them all away. Finally!!!! I am done, I can take it easy and catch up on my e-mail. What a day! Tomorrow, I will sleep in, hopefully.
